Should I take 500 for my existing shocks as is? seems low but doesn’t seem wrong given condition.

no springs. at least 4 springs are scrap anyway, maybe 6.

dual rate stops are gone on many, bodies are beat, seal retainers are completely trashed.

I was thinking it seemed a little low, but not terribly low. It's probably a price I wouldn't fell bad about selling them to someone I know for - which this is (Kevin with the CORR Ranger). I'm not sure I could get 6-700 open market for them with good pictures and honest history with 1-2 pending broken bodies.

exchange rate probably killed that deal, too much CAD to him to make it worth my while before I have replacements paid for.

speaking of, if I cannot go direct through the race program, I got a quote from Accuride today right around 3600 all said and done springs and all with some serious tuning knowhow behind it.  I think that's about what I expected.  I'm sure I'll have as much luck with a PAC sponsorship as I did hearing anything back from Fox so I'm sure I'll be paying full boat on everything anyway. c'mon tire buyers and Eagle lookie loos!

I'm trying to decide whether I buy shocks now-ish or in early spring. Probably not much chance for tuning before next spring and not much point in spending the money sooner than later. Aligning axles, adjusting/rebuilding shock mounts, and installing rear bumps are a MUST along with the shocks. Good enough has given me a year of broken shocks, it's getting done right.

Along with shocks & axle alignment, I would like to get my links all reconfigured to aluminum and to delete the bushings at the chassis, make sure everything is square and true and schrong, build new shock mounts around the new shocks with proper spacing and angles and such, and get rear bumps and a rear swaybar in so I don't kill these things. Other than that, some additional siren controls and tie-in and radiator mounting are on the short list. Not sure about rearend/tire carrier/bumper changes because I don't know what I want to do; I still want to rewire too, that's a big bite and probably at the bottom of the list.

offering him 2400 shipped for these if the rubber coil cup keepers aren't smashed from bottoming. I found the bouncer these were run on, and there are no bump stops or limit straps. The winch hooked for suckdown up front, and a center limit chain in back. Rates should be damn close if not right on for me.

first time I've seen what I'm actually looking for listed for sale.

eyes and remotes indicate Factory Series.

I'd been looking at $3600 for new. I just got your email though...
