I'm sure a lot of the high cost is due to the needed funny shape. kidney shapes will nest, spheres won't. the spheres may still be better than nothing, but nowhere near as good as kidneys.

inner air locks are pretty pricey, but compared to the cost of shredding a brand new tire?

they dont nest at all, they are completely randomly packed in.  the pictures on the website are pretty but in reality they dont run like that at all.

shannons tires we took apart looked like a gob stopper inside

i think 6-9" smooth walmart bounce balls would be the best.  will have to make another lift tool to hold down a bead lock ring but should be doable.

im all for a farm truck tire ball.

UPS tracking for my 7 packages is confusing, but the lot appears to be due tomorrow except maybe one on Friday.

Got em all last night. Glad I was home to help ups guy, he was having a long day since he didn't make it to me until about 18:00. He figured he wouldn't be having a drink till 21:00...

Lowboy work almost done, going to have to take a half day to finish this afternoon. The need to redeck continues to become more obvious.

May get to touch these next week?

Almost done with tires. Innerairlocks were not nearly as bad to assemble as I feared.

Wish my wheels had been drilled for the second valve stem. That’ll probably piss me off until I drill and tap for it. Would be really exposed though.

I’m filling the 4 with liners to 5/18 then 30/??. Hoping it ends up at 20 or so.

2 beadlocked spares currently at 22.

One spare needs vulc work and is staying unmounted.
One spare is tubed on H2 and staying that way for now. I think its at 30.

Short list remaining:
top locks and harder spacers on steering heims
air channel to get around the innerairlocks so I can check/set tire pressure
reinstall intercom
top off front gear oil, or maybe tear it down and put standard seals in it since the new style didn't work out at all.

maybe next week I'll get stuff taken care of on the tow rig? :(
Then there's the trucks to part, and the jetta to assemble. Plates for it Wednesday, along with getting the white Eagle title so I can transfer to the buyer. Fuck PA titles.
patch & paint at my house ongoing too.

redid the inner airs with an air channel made from ARB line stuffed into the back side of the valve stem. seems to work VERY well, and gives me much more confidence.

fronts at 23, rears at 20, liners at 35. spares at 26. Let's do this.

3 of 4 tie rod heim joints are shot, that's the play. No loose bolts - though I do need a pair of 7/8 top locks to be sure it stays that way

gonna try and remember to bring my compressor, and remember to double check pressures Friday to see if I have any slow leaks. No patched tires on the car, they are all spares.
