I never wanted a red car.. always thought they were tacky and common...
I now have 4 very not common cars and they are all red.. :o

so much easier to weld them and set up with the lathe

i am able to chuck up the shaft, hold with live centers or whatever to ensure straightness...

tack 3 places, then turn the big pulley on the lathe with my left hand while laying down the bead with the mig gun resting on tool holder.

i am stuck on a good air cleaner housing / dust sheild. 


the hard part is done and the filter is fit to the chassis.... made a thin alum shield quick but it looks hack.



I think an alum tig is on the list this year.

no time for facebook today hhaha

mounted 4 all new race tire / wheels

got a front number plate on.  chassis 100% painted

helped work on matts car

we are both in pretty good shape. 


hope to get radios in tomorrow, and finish up the air cleaner housing mounts.
