spent some time reading the homebuilt paper work i submitted for back in 2011 for the other car.  Looks like having a 200X motor kills the deal to do it full legit-  must have emissions for motor year. 


getting a VW title or some other title... bah!

Sometimes I can't imagine what was going on in their minds.  Any newer engine is going to be running 100% cleaner even without all of the emissions than the older exempt engines.  Why put a restriction on it like that?  Stupid NY.

Isn't all about the $$? How else can they justify the constant increases in fees (aka taxes) on any motor vehicle?
