they figured out how to cam away EGR on this gen also. 

If it's a static cam, that's got to be bad for it in tuned form in my mind. Unless they did away with the need for it entirely on the tuning side

fully preped and beat on around M4.  Fucking thing leaks anywhere gear oil is so that will have to be delt with next week. 


Roof on and coolers doing jobs.  shocks and bumps charged ready for some shakedown.

I am next door at Ontario County park and could hear the sweat sounds for a while.. Then it got quiet.. Hope all is fine.

rear 14 bolt needs wheel seals / vent added
front 60 needs inner axle seals
RCV boot clearance issue  - i think the boot is rubbing on the king pin threads, weird.
needs expanded steel on the floor tin
tree bars
trans dip stick moved

Tony, Matt, Myself, and Another FLX guy went to Pines today to rip around.

Buggy rips hard, no issues still. trans seems to not care on near vertical climbs.  The deeper gear of the 4l60e and way better shift points along with the 5.38s make this thing feel like twice the power to the ground as the other car.  is pretty silly with your foot down.


Fixed the case leak last night, two pin holes in the PTO cover rotted out- swapped with an SM465 PTO cover i had laying in the shop.

i have decided not to race this weekend.   i am going to continue to prep the car, but i just dont want to rush it be cause it will stay hacked. 


I still plan to take the car down Friday afternoon, prerun the course but wreck wheel the weekend.
