Thats a remote filter adapter, for moving the filter to another location.

ya, that would work, but you need a remote housing adaptor also.


The one i found

has a T stat in it, and the filter screws right on it it. 

i have the fear of an oil filter flopping around and breaking off what ever mount its mounted to since they are are shitty cast junk metal. 

Hope there is enough room from filter to sub on my car
