You can not have over 10 round mags for anything in NY, there are too many laws for too many things, it very complicated.

I should say 10 round capacity, even if they are not detachable mags.

Can't hold more than 10 now.
Only for detachable mag. Attached tube mag as no limit afaik

There is an exception for an attached tubular device designed to accept, and capable of operating only with, .22 caliber rimfire ammunition. See New York State penal Law Section 265.00 subdivision 23.

Good to know.  Although it seems a little silly to have a law against one but ok for the same thing in another form. Leave it to politicians .

not the first time I've read of a difference for rimfire vs centerfire rounds... I believe the federal ban had similar language.

i think they had no choice because of the "22 shorts"  you can fit more in a tube, but the same in a clip
