I'm expecting around $4k realistically and plan to swap with a 28' GA unit unless a good deal on a goose comes along.

don't bother with the GA unit.

Jokinens' is restricted to local duty with a bolted shut front door after I think 4 cross country trips?

From Erik:

"The door isn't bolted shut. The piano hinge started to break and can't be welded. So I installed a CJ hood hinge to add support so it wouldn't tear off on our last cross country trip."

Aprox. 50k miles on the white GA trailer 3 years, many of those miles maxed out on weight.

I would buy another GA trailer if that's what budget allowed for, just be careful on weights, tires and speed.

I bet 5200s would be fine for me weights and speeds but I am pretty set on upgrading to 7ks at this point.

my bad on the trailer - only 80% as bad as I'd remembered/understood.

I'd hope a 14k GA unit would hold up to your use at around 10.
but keep in mind my 8 year old Haulmark 10k seems to be tolerating my use pretty much at capacity quite well. It hasn't made many cross country trips though, I've probably barely put 10,000 miles on it. I probably won't know what mine will look like at 50k unless I start dragging only one unit to CA and back 5 times a year.

Sweet little unit there!
Looks like a D90 in the background of that pic, too.
