I was running the tf999 behind the 258. But since I'm swapping in the 360 out of Cora's Jeep... maybe a trans upgrade might be a good idea.
i need to repair the selector stud leak and swap out dipstick tube anyway. 999 parts aren't very available.

What's the condition of the 727?
Was it yours?
No issues bolting up a 300 case?

I'm at a good swapping point in my project.

Tomorrow, would be better, I live 35 miles from work, and I brought tires to transport to Rochester tonight. FItting the trans with everything else (all inside my JK) might also be a pain.
If we can make a deal, I could meet Eric tomorrow.

Story on the trans, Came out of my parts jeep, whole jeep had under 100k. Was behind a 360 (which I have on my engine stand with all of the accessories. I didn't drive it down the road but I did move it around the driveway some.

I was saving it for a spare for my waggy (Which I might part with as well since I'm selling everything).

Dana 300 is a direct bolt on, but the angle was a little high, clocking ring would be needed for fine tuning the case angle.

What's it worth?

I'm running a rebuilt one now. With no issues behind the 258

I was considering the 727 to swap in behind the 360 if it was fresh or at least was your personal trans.
just bought a new shifter and seals for the 999.
So ill pass.
But thanks Josh.
