Long story...
picked these guys up in Alabama...
1984 WetBikes...
google it.. they are awesome.. rode one in scout camp when I was younger... best friend challenged me to find for an impulse buy...
found a set of twins...
Mechanically sound, vintage appearance, even like the color... :)
going to go through them and make sea worthy for this summer..

this was the first... everything else is a wave runner without hydrofoils

worked with M4 speed last night... finished tear down in under 90 min..
yeah not a lot to these things, but being my first time I actually paid attention...
going to have a parts list shortly..

Wanted to get a jump on cleaning the hull and possibly prepping for paint..
Engine seems to be complete.. turns freely and Ill throw a compression tester on there this weekend.

and its a project...
sending flywheel out to be lightened... billet exhaust spacer for added flow.. speed plugs for jet drive... ::)

Finish up front suspension (back from powder coat)
Ignition panel and wiring
Bilge pump (need LONG pilot drill bit)
Electrical box cover (aluminum sheet?)
seat on seat box
Decals
gear oil and non Ethanol Gas...

All done...  except for a no start issue  ::)

working on some wiring and troubleshooting... bad tether switch or CDI unit most likely...
