Brake controller calibration is trailer (and weather) specific. Drive about 25-30 mph and engage the controller to 100% manually, adjust until trailer’s tires don’t lock up then back off slightly. Redo if driving on wet road, or turn it all way down/off on snow/ice.

I know, but I don't own a trailer to even see if it works before I rent this rv...

two bumper pulls on my property right now they both probably weigh about 3500 lbs

it felt great, although I didn't go far and didn't go very fast...
brake controller worked as it should
Ranger pulled like there was almost nothing behind me

Tom's trailer he said is about 2000 lbs.
Jeep is about 3600 lbs.

The camper we're renting in a few weeks is about 3000 lbs, and about 21' long
looking forward to what towing a box feels like, haha
