Post by: orange anchor on December 11, 2012, 04:32:22 PM: Kelly said she would not want to ride in a rat rod/ old truck. So I am building it for Luke and I to cruise in. Have not decided if I am going to chop it, channel it, slam it or just leave it stock stance.
Either way it will have:
new style front suspension and disc brakes
9" or corp 14 bolt rear
350SBC with carb and HEI
turbo 350
possible a cage but keep it as light as possible
Still want room in bed for Dirt Bike or lumber
Most likely leave all the old paint and character just as is
I want to be able to drive it safely
Love the old stuff so cool and eff. designed

Acura seats would be the same way. When can I pull them or are you coming down to bend pipe this week? I want a big pile of parts before it get to cold to screw around outside.
