What's the plan?

Kelly said she would not want to ride in a rat rod/ old truck.  So I am building it for Luke and I to cruise in.   Have not decided if I am going to chop it, channel it, slam it or just leave it stock stance.
Either way it will have:
new style front suspension and disc brakes
9" or corp 14 bolt rear
350SBC with carb and HEI
turbo 350
possible a cage but keep it as light as possible
Still want room in bed for Dirt Bike or lumber
Most likely leave all the old paint and character just as is
I want to be able to drive it safely
Love the old stuff so cool and eff. designed

Yes, Ryan I need the seats that would be great.  I was gonna run VW seats (jetta or golf) because they are slim/light but supportive.  Acura seats would be the same way.   When can I pull them or are you coming down to bend pipe this week?  I want a big pile of parts before it get to cold to screw around outside.
Very cool thanks.

They are tan by the way. They are in good shape. You should measure up for some nice Profender gas shocks on it too.

Lack of overdrive is the only problem I see with your plan.

I bet you could find a LS with a 4L60E for a great price on CL.  ;D

Don't need OD with 3.23s or 3.55s and a decent tire.

Ryan, I may stop by tonight with the kids if cool to grab seats.  Mom needs me to hammer drill a 1" hole for new gas line for her fire place insert.  Thanks

Thanks
Just scored two orginal scout bumpers back for the project. Why did I give all those international parts away with the scout why.  Life is a circle note to me: build more storage capacity

A stance like this would be sweet

Harness in the good energy, block out the bad. Harness. Energy. Block. Bad. It's like a carousel. You put the quarter in, you get on the horse, it goes up and down, and around. Circular, circle. Feel it. Go with the flow.

Sorry Ryan, Yes it was but not the orginal motor for the sub.   Gif pulled it from a work van couple years ago and stuck it in.

man that 03 express van frame and chassis i scrapped would have been a sweet ticket for a project like this, nice disk brakes, VA truck, clean.  good tank and sending, all good brake lines 10 bolts to pop its top.
